| Rumah Sejuk dengan Kolam di Tengah Ruang |
BIASANYA kita menempatkan kolam di luar rumah. Kalaupun diletakkan di ruang dalam, biasanya ada di belakang atau samping rumah. Pernah mencoba meletakkannya di tengah rumah? Kolam di tengah rumah bisa menjadi pengganti ruang transisi. Lihat saja kolam pada foto ini. Selain berfungsi sebagai penyejuk ruangan, kolam juga menjadi pemisah antara ruang tamu dan ruang makan. Di sini, kolam membentang dari bagian pinggir dinding kiri hingga dinding kanan. Luasnya hampir 15 meter persegi. Kedalaman kolam hanya 40 cm, sengaja dibuat dangkal dengan alasan keamanan, terutama agar anak kecil terhindar dari bencana tenggelam. |
